Funding chairs, programs, and divisions will allow us to advance research, training, and practice in these disciplines.
Supporting the emerging priorities of each division will drive the discoveries and knowledge sharing that will lead to better treatments and outcomes for patients and families.
“Research is the most promising path to new treatments. McLean is a leader because of its excellence in both basic and clinical research, and its ability to translate that work into better care.”

Supporting emerging leaders in neuroscience research is our way of changing the future. McLean fosters such leaders and brings their ideas to light. By endowing the Phyllis and Jerome Lyle Rappaport Division of Basic Neuroscience Research and the Phyllis and Jerry Rappaport Endowed Chair in Psychiatry, we’re doing our part to support discovery into new treatments for mental illness.
